The young Hawkeye wrestlers will need to wrestle above their preseason seeds to defeat Penn State.

I see this as a two-man race to the finals. I would love to see Nick Suriano (Rutgers) win his first title. However, I do believe Spencer Lee repeats as long as he stays healthy.

133:

I’m sticking with the champ here. I have no doubt that the Seth Gross ends his career on a high note. Look for freshman and junior world team member Daton Fix (OK State) to be a threat.

141:

Yanni all the way! The true sophomore from Cornell will continue his quest on duplicating what only fellow Big Red Kyle Dake has done. (Win 4 titles without taking a redshirt)

149:

I see Matt Kolodzik (Princeton) improving from his 3rd place finish last year to stand atop podium. The two others I see challenging Matt as long as they stay healthy are seniors Micah Jordan (Ohio State) and Anthony Ashnault (Rutgers).

157:

Jason Nolf (Penn State) is as much of a lock to win as Zain Retherford (Penn State) was last year. I have no doubt that there will be a repeat of last year’s finals between Nolf and the sophomore from NC State Hayden Hidlay. Continue reading
